

Dylan "DP" Porter is a leadership expert with a proven record of building trust, creating clarity, and leading teams through high-stakes environments. A retired U.S. Navy Captain and Naval Aviator, Dylan spent more than two decades commanding, instructing, and shaping the culture of high-performing organizations - from combat operations to international coalitions.
His career was forged not in titles, but in trust. As a Landing Signals Officer and flight instructor, Dylan trained and mentored hundreds of aviators, instilling discipline, resilience, and confidence. Later, as Air Boss aboard the aircraft carrier USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN 72), he was responsible for the safe execution of thousands of flight operations, coordinating teams under relentless pressure where mistakes were not an option. As a commanding officer, he shaped cultures built on accountability, service, and respect - places where people thrived even in the most demanding circumstances.
Today, Dylan brings that same mindset to his coaching and consulting practice. As a lead facilitator at the Navy Leadership and Ethics Center, he prepared the Navy's future commanding officers to lead with integrity, clarity, and confidence. His facilitation style is direct, authentic, and always focused on unlocking potential - not just delivering content. In his work with executives, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams, Dylan helps organizations align strategy with execution, build resilient cultures, and lead effectively through periods of growth, change, and crisis.
A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, Dylan earned his Bachelors from the University of Florida and holds a Masters greeting in National Security from the Naval War College. His approach to leadership is mission-driven, people-first, and grounded in hard-won experience at the highest levels of responsibility.
